In a world full of names and titles, some carry more than identity — they carry purpose.

My name is Debra Smurfette Ratliff, but to many, I go by Scottillia.

Smurfette is more than just a middle name — it’s a symbol of gentleness, creativity, and compassion. A name that has followed me through life, and now serves as the heart and soul of the community I’ve built.

Scottillia, my nickname, is the voice of strength, resilience, and vision. It’s the side of me that organizes, uplifts, and keeps going — even when the world gets heavy. Together, Smurfette and Scottillia represent balance: softness and strength, care and courage.

That’s what the Smurfette Volunteer Community Group is all about.

We are a growing nonprofit family rooted in New York City, standing beside families, children, and individuals who need support, hope, and action. Whether we’re offering care packages, workshops, transportation help, or simply a listening ear — we do it with love, dignity, and purpose.

We believe in:

  • 💼 Job opportunities and training

  • 🧸 Helping children and animals

  • 📚 Education through free courses

  • 🏠 Support for the homeless and survivors

  • 💬 A safe social space to connect and grow

  • 🎁 Rewarding good actions with real blessings

Here, your voice matters. Your story matters. Your healing matters.

Led by me — Smurfette, known as Scottillia — this community is built for people who care and people who need care.

Together, we are more than volunteers —

We are a movement of kindness, strength, and rebirth.
